Take It or Build It, 2026

The project takes an interactive approach, where the audience is invited to assemble a larger structure made of glass pieces. The pieces serve as stimuli for collaborative engagement, leading to an artistic experience that transcends the physical realm. The physical glass pieces are not finished in themselves; their meaning emerges through the process of exchange and participation.

The installation encourages collaborative participation in assembling a large-scale jigsaw puzzle. Each participant receives a puzzle piece and chooses whether to keep it for themselves or contribute it to a growing communal artwork. The puzzle has no border pieces, symbolizing the boundlessness of sharing, connection, and collective synergy.

The work was presented as part of the IP Studio Micro-Residency, run by the IP Group/Foundation in Wrocław, Poland, which supports emerging artists, media artists, and performers by providing a dedicated space for creative processes and production. Awab Jamas, Khalil Hayan, and Meta Mramor curated the group exhibition Bellerophon, exploring artistic mediation as a means of bridging artworks, artists, and viewers. The exhibition ran from 18 to 28 January at IP Studio, Ruska 46a, Wrocław.
